The Desert Bandit Camp is a small city in the western section of the Kharidian Desert. Like other cities in the desert, you do not need any waterskins to survive. However, there is a difference with this city compared to the others. Unlike other desert cities the Desert Bandit Camp is not part of the Magic Carpet routes throughout the desert. The closest station is a short walk north at the Bedabin Camp. In this city, you can find a pub, a general store, bandits to kill, and more.
Getting There
There are a few ways you can get to the Bandit Camp. Please view the map below to understand the five different methods you can reach this camp.
Method 01: Magic Carpet
It was stated above that the Bandit Camp does not have a Magic Carpet Station. However, the Bedabin Camp does. From the Shantay Pass, take a magic carpet to the Bedabin Camp and then walk south to the Bandit Camp. It will cost you 200gp to use a carpet. After completing the Rogue Trader Mini-Game, the initial price with halve to 100gp. Players can further reduce the cost by wearing a Ring of Charos(a), and this works without completing Rouge Trader.
Method 02: Walking
This method is very simple. Walk straight from the Shanty Pass to the Bandit Camp. Since you will be walking through the desert, you should take some desert robes and waterskins to survive. Lower-leveled players should watch out for level-21 and level-27 Desert Wolves.
Method 03: Fairy Ring
This method is for players who have started the quest, A Fairytale Part II: Cure the Queen. Use the coordinate BIQ at the main Fairy Ring in Zanaris. You will be taken to the fairy ring near the Kalphite Lair. Walk to the Bandit Camp upon arrival at the fairy ring.
Method 04: Player-Owned House
This method is for players who have their house built in Pollnivneach. Use the spell “Teleport to House” to teleport to your house. Exit your house and walk to the Bandit Camp.
Method 05: Camulet Teleport
This method is for players who have completed the quest, Enakhra's Lament. After you complete this quest, you are rewarded with a Camulet. The Camulet will teleport you to Enakrha's Temple. The temple is close to the Bandit Camp. Rub the Camulet and teleport to the temple. Work your way out of the temple and walk to the Bandit Camp.

Attractions
(1) The Entrance
This is the entrance to the camp. It is made up of two sand hills that form a pathway into the camp. There are also two torches that stand at the entrance. Once you past the torches, you will not need any waterskins to survive. Before you enter the camp, make sure you do not wear any items that belong to Saradomin or Zamorak. If you do, the bandits will attack you. This includes God capes, god trimmed armors, holy books, etc. Items that belong to Guthix are acceptable. More information on specific god items can be found in The Guide to Gods & Demigods.
(2) The Pub
Inside the pub you can find level-74 bandits and NPC bandits. There is also a bartender at the end of the bar. If you talk to the bandits or the bartender, you will not get a friendly response. The bandits do not like people coming into their camp. However, players who have completed the quest, Desert Treasure, will get a more friendly response. The bartender will also sell you Bandit’s Brew for 650gp. Bandit's Brew will temporarily raise your Thieving level by one level.
(3) Thieving Chest Tent
South of the pub is a small tent. Here you can find a secure chest. This chest plays a part in the quest, Desert Treasure. Inside is Rasolo’s Gilded Cross. To open the chest, you will level-53 thieving. You need exactly level-53 thieving or better. Special potions or drinks that will raise your thieving level to 53 will not work. The chest has three locks. You will need a couple of lockpicks to pick the locks open. If you fail, a poisonous gas trap will set off. Bring some Antipoison potions to cure your poison.
(4) Bandit Training House
It was mentioned before that the bandits would attack any player with holy items dedicated to Saradomin or Zamorak. However, that’s not exactly a bad thing. A popular training method is for players to bring melee items and a god item to the bandit camp. Equip the god item and enter one of the training houses. Set your character to Auto-Retaliate and he/she will begin to auto attack bandits that attack him/her first. Bandits will keep respawning and your character will keep attacking, making this a great training method. Make sure to bring food to keep yourself alive. Players who use Guthan Barrow Armor can eliminate the need for food. Lastly, make sure you are at your keyboard when you come to train. It is against the rules to leave your keyboard and let your character fight the bandits.
(5) Bandit Training Tent
West of the Bandit Training House is a Bandit Training Tent. This is another place where you can train on the bandits. There are two bandits in the house. A third bandit will wander into the house when he notices a player wearing a Saradomin or Zamorak item.
(6) Bandit Training Building
North of the Bandit Training Tent is a Bandit Training Building. Once again, this place can be used to train on the bandits. Two bandits inhabit his building. A third bandit will wander into the house when he’s notices a player wearing a Zamorak or Saradomin item.
(7) The Mirrors
Southeast of the training tent and building are the mirrors used in the quest, Desert Treasure. These mirrors help you find the four diamonds. You can also find the NPC, Eblis. He will sell players who have completed Desert Treasure an Ancient Staff for 80,000gp. Once you buy a staff from him, you cannot buy another.
Shops
(8) General Store
The general store is located east of the camp’s entrance. The owner of the store is the Bandit Shopkeeper. He sells the basic general store goods, along with some desert survival gear.
